Water Spells:

There is no way to learn tempestry. You cannot cast water spells.

Earth Spells:

Before casting earth spells, you must prepare them. Put all the needed reagents in a bag and use the key of the caretaker on it. After that an icon for the spell will be in the bag, which can be used once. You can create more spells of one type simulatenously if you put enough reagents in the bag (e. g. two pieces of each reagent will give you two icons). Take care: Wrong number or type of reagents will cause them to disappear.

Open Ground: Creates a hole in the ground if possible
Death Speak: Speaking with dead people (Necromancers)
Mask of Death: You will appear to be dead for other people (undead won't fight you)
Stone Skin: No damage possible for a short time (very useful!)
Summon Dead: Summon undead creature to aid you
Grant Peace: Kill undeads (especially ghosts and skeletons forever)
Withstand Death: Survive every damage (Should work only once)
Summon Golem: Can help you in battle or open locked doors (Target: dirt)
Quakes: Creates earthquake

Air Spells:

Double-click on the focus to cast the spell. This will work only before you take the breath of wind. After that, double-click on the breath of wind and then on yourself to give you power for a single air-spell (cas be done as often as you want).

Healing touch: Heals yourself (Targeted)
Restoration: Restores full health to you
Fade from sight: Makes you invisible (Targeted)
Reveal: Makes invisible things visible (e.g. hidden chests, but also you if invisible!)
Intervention: Protection against blows and striking attacks (NOT against fire, lava, drowning, ...)
Hear truth: Hear the truth in what people say
Aerial servant: Allows to move things without touching (Target on yourself to take from afar)
Divination: Reveals position and time
Air walk: Allows very long jumps

Fire Spells:

The spells must be prepared with a pentagram and a focus. The focus is afterwards used to cast the spell by double-clicking on it. There are different foci which can hold different spells (and different amounts of them).

Pentacle:

This is a pentacle with the positions named:

Foci:

  1. Pentacle: Can hold several of Ignite and Extinguish, every other spell once.
  2. Wand: Many Ignite and Extinguish, some of Flash and Flame Bolt.
  3. Rod: Many of the wand spells plus some of Endure Heat, Fire Shield and Armor of Flames.
  4. Staff: Many of the rod spells plus Create Fire and Explosion.
  5. Demon Head: Can hold only some of Summon Demon, Banish Demon and one Conflagration.

Spells:

Ignite: Set the target on fire if possible. Target on yourself to ignite all visible possible targets.
Extinguish: Douse target. Target on yourself douses all.
Flame Bolt: Throws a bolt of flames at the target which is damaged.
Flash: Directed bolt. Casters appears at target (=teleport). Not possible through obstacles like walls.
Endure Heat: Non-magic fire does no damage (You can walk on stable lava).
Armor of Flames: Protects from magical fire.
Fire Shield: Creates an impenetrable ring around the caster (can only be crossed by the Flash-spell).
Create Fire: Ground at target ignites. Persons standing there are damaged.
Explosion: Throw a bolt at the target, where it explodes and does damage.
Summon Demon: Demon appears and attacks target (If the target is no person he attacks you).
Banish Demon: Kills the target demon (doesn't work always).
Conflagration: BIG damage to all except you (I couldn't bind it into an focus, it went up immediately, but the master has an enchanted focus in his rooms).

Etheral Spells:

You can buy these spells from Mythran. He will give you a book for each. Double-click on the book to prepare the spell (will work only if you have the reagents! Beware: If you read the book and some of the reagents are missing, the others are used up!). Release the spell by double-clicking again on the book.

Confusion Blast: All hostile creatures will stop attacking you. (One charge)
Meteor Shower: Flaming boulders will strike down around you. (One charge)
Summon Creature: Summones a creature, which will attack a designated foe (e. g. a kith). (One charge)
Call Destruction: Bolts of lightning will strike all visible targets. (Infinite charge)
Etheral Travel: Allows you to traverse the ether; travelling between dimensions. (Infinite charges, but usable only once)

Potions:

With potions you can create magical effects without having to use mana, but you'll have to carry them (and find them before!). All potions are usable only once.

Yellow Potion: Healing
Red Potion: Restoration (Will do damage if already full health!)
Blue Potion: Makes you sleep
Green Potion: Poisons you
Orange Potion: Restores your mana
Purple Potion: Gives protection in combat
Black Potion: Makes you invisible

Scrolls:

Scrolls are exactly like potions: Usable once and you need to find them. There is only one exception: The scrolls for dispelling magical portals can nowhere be found. You can buy them from Mythran for 50 obsidian coins.
